The Jade is a white stucco terrace on Hogarth Road in Kensington, a street of railings and front steps just off Earl's Court Road. Earl's Court station is three minutes' walk, on the District and Piccadilly lines — and the Piccadilly runs straight to Heathrow with no changes.

The rooms are done in bronze-and-teal patina, walnut and leather, with wood floors and air conditioning. Every one has its own bathroom with a monsoon shower, a mini kitchen with a fridge and microwave, tea and coffee, and a flat-screen TV.

The front desk is staffed twenty-four hours, there is a lift, and Wi-Fi is free throughout. Hyde Park is about ten minutes on foot, and the Natural History Museum and the V&A a little further.
